Practical answers for planning a stay, travelling with your horse or welcoming riders.
Travelling with your horse
How do I book a stay for my horse?
Choose a place, your dates and the horses travelling with you, then send your request. Include the number of people and horses. Your stay is confirmed when the host accepts and you complete the payment steps shown.
What information should I prepare about my horse?
Add a profile with its name, height, sex and breed if known. Before travelling, check the equine passport and health documents required for the journey and the venue; ask the host what to bring.
How do I tell the host about my horse’s specific needs?
Check the facilities and conditions for the unit you are considering. Mention important needs in your request — isolation, a stallion, forage or watering — and wait for the host’s explicit agreement before travelling.
Bookings and payments
How do I cancel a booking?
Open the relevant booking in your account and check its cancellation terms. Any refund depends on those terms and the payment status; the summary shown before you confirm applies.
Can I change my stay dates?
Message the host from the conversation linked to your stay before changing your plans. Changes depend on availability and the host’s agreement; check the revised price and confirmation in ClariStay.
When and how do I pay?
Available payment methods and due dates are shown during booking. Do not pay by bank transfer, cash or a link received outside ClariStay. Visit Safety and fraud if a payment request seems unusual.
Hosts and listings
How do I publish my horse-friendly place?
Create your listing, describe the units available for horses and guests, add facilities, house rules and prices, then submit it for platform review. Required documents depend on the country and type of accommodation.
What should I include in my listing price?
Set a price for each unit and list any applicable fees or extras. Clearly explain what is included — such as forage or bedding — so travellers can review the cost before sending a request.
